Portal was many peoples Game Of 2007, based in no small part to the excellent scripting and voice work for GLaDOS, the Space Odyssey style computer gone psychotic.

I imagine that if your satnav suddenly started speaking like the above mentioned computer, it could be unsettling. Only one way to find out really!

I used to regularly read the film site Twitch, and back in January I bookmarked this preview of Let The Right One In as I thought it had potential to be one of the most promising films of the year. The feature on Shadowplay hasn’t done anything to curb my enthusiasm. Mermaid is also discussed in the article and sounds cool too.
